Spring 2012 fashion shows (some details TBC)
To date, we are delighted to have been involved in over 20 fashion shows, and have helped raise over £10000 for various charities! Friday 2nd March from 7.30pm, Matfen Hall Hotel drink on arrival, fashion show, followed by 2 course supper. Tickets £27.50 pp, available from Matfen Hall, tel 01661 855712 or email info@matfenhall.com or visit the Matfen Hall website.
Wednesday 18th April 11am - 2.30pm, Matfen Hall Hotel Ladies Lunch with arrival tea/coffee and danishes, fashion show, followed by a glass of wine, canapes and a delicious 2 course lunch. We have been delighted to hold fashions shows for local charities and organisations, raising money for several different causes including: October 2011 - fashion show as part of Ladies Charity Night at The Diamond Inn, Ponteland. Proceeds went to Myasthenia Gravis Association. October 2011 - Ladies Lunch and fashion show for Ponteland Flower Club at Fratelli Restaurant, Ponteland. November 2011 - Ladies Lunch at the Gosforth Park Marriott Hotel in aid of the NSPCC. May 2011 at Fisherman's Lodge, Jesmond - ladies lunch for the NSPCC. June 2010: NSPCC Ladies Lunch at The Fisherman's Lodge, Jesmond a fabulous event enjoyed by all, raising valuable funds for the North East branch of the NSPCC. Pre-lunch entertainment by Rat Pack singer Paul Martin, champagne reception, lovely lunch and a fabulous fashion show! April 2010, at the Trinity Centre, Gosforth High Street. Fashion and flower show, to raise money for Children North East. Tickets £6 to include a glass of wine, available from Panache, the Trinity Centre, or Children North East. A mix of spring and summer casual and occasion wear, together with an entertaining demonstration of flower arranging by Maureen and Elizabeth. December 2009 'Ladies Lunch' Christmas Fashion show at The Fisherman's Lodge November 2009 'Ladies Lunch' fashion show at The Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park - A fabulous event enjoyed by all, with £600 raised for the NSPCC. Thank you to everyone who attended. October 2009 Afternoon charity fashion show at Matfen Hall Hotel - Raising £900 for Cancer Research UK, supporting Breast Cancer Awareness. Thanks to all who attended, and special thanks to Lynn Harding and our other fantastic models. Thank you also to Peter Christie (www. July 2009, Brunton Park - Charity show in aid of Breast Cancer Care, organised by Brunton Park Floral Art Club, raising £1350. Huge thank you to everyone for attending, and to all parties who donated raffle and tombola prizes. February 2009 - Fashion Show at Ponteland Golf Club, raising over £1200 for the Lady Captain's charity appeal, supporting Age-Related Macular Dengeneration. October 2008 - 7pm Fashion show in aid of Women's Refuge, on behalf of Tynemouth Inner Wheel; held in Tynemouth. WE WERE DELIGHTED TO RAISE OVER £1500 FOR THIS WORTHWHILE CHARITY, October 2008 - 7pm Fashion show from Panache and Marlows (Kirkharle) in aid of the Liver Unit at the Freeman Hospital. Held at Otterburn Towers Hotel. A GREAT SUCCESS, WITH FABULOUS FOOD, AND SUPERB FASHIONS! June 2008 - Our summer fashion show was a great success, raising £1565 for charity! We were delighted to host the show on behalf of the Mayor of Castle Morpeth, Cllr Mrs Irene Brumwell, with all proceeds going towards the Mayor's Charity Appeal, supporting Motor Neurone Disease Association and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. We were very well supported by local businesses, including Ponteland Print, and many others who donated raffle prizes. A huge thank you to: Ponteland Leisure Centre, Sainsbury, Kirkley Hall, FH Hardy Florists, Crown Millinery, Elliotts Greengrocers, Mills Newsagents, Parklands Chemist and Bonner & White. Of course we would also like to extend our thanks to everybody who attended, and to the fabulous models and everybody who was helping behind the scenes! Look out for pictures appearing soon on our gallery page! The end of an era....but looking forward to seeing you in the new shop! As we say goodbye to our shop at Merton Road, we are delighted to welcome our loyal customers to the new shop at 11 Main Street, Ponteland, NE20 9NH. We are also looking forward to welcoming new customers and passing trade, as people just cannot miss the shop windows, which can be seen from every angle as you pass through Ponteland village centre! We look forward to seeing you soon!
